Students attending this class must have a general understanding of PLC operation and communication.

RSNetworx for DeviceNet with your choice of PLC-5, SLC-500, or ControlLogix systems
Course Description:
Students will learn how to configure a DeviceNet system, and trace the flow of information from field devices to memory locations in the PLC. This course can be delivered with the PLC-5, SLC-500, or ControlLogix system. This course utilizes RSNetworx for DeviceNet to configure the DeviceNet system.
Objectives:
Demonstrate an understanding of the DeviceNet network by identification of DeviceNet components
Identify how DeviceNet components differ from other network communication components
Demonstrate an understanding of the use of RSNetworx for DeviceNet
Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot a DeviceNet network
